September was another busy month for our roster artists and consultancy projects at Playlist. Some of the biggest remixes from August continued across into September whilst a bunch of new tracks hit the airwaves, blogs and clubs.

One of our latest additions to the remix roster at Playlist, Fix8 returned for their second Kodaline remix and it has surpassed the success of the first!

TORN‘s remix was featured in Augusts highlights and it has continued to hit the mark throughout September.

Naughty Boy Feat Emeli Sande – Lifted – (Danny Howard – Dance Anthems Push The Tempo)

As part of our consultancy with Virgin Records we were asked to provide a commercial remix and a drum & bass remix for the remix package for Naughty Boy Feat Emeli Sande – Lifted

We selected two artists from our own roster, Kat Krazy & Loadstar. Both delivered huge remixes that have had a big impact.

Danny Howard included both remixes in his “Push The Tempo” feature on BBC Radio 1’s Dance Anthems show on Saturday 14th September.

  • The Kat Krazy remix received 3 plays in total on Dance Anthems in September and a massive 7 plays on Friday and Saturday Kiss FM shows.

Indiana – Smoking Gun (Hucci Remix)

Hucci steps up again to deliver an amazing rework of Indiana’s track “Smoking Gun”.

  • No 1 on Hype Machine
  • 180k Plays on Soundcloud

Example – All The Wrong Places (Calyx & TeeBee Remix)

As part of our consultancy with Epic Records, we commissioned Calyx & Teebee to remix Example‘s single “All The Wrong Places”.

This remix was featured in August but it continued to receive support on BBC Radio 1, Kiss FM and online.

  • Premiered by B.Traits on BBC Radio 1
  • Premiered online on UKF Drum & Bass with 237k plays at the time of writing
  • BBC Radio 1 Dance Anthems Support & Kiss FM
